Hello! My name is Dave Wolfrum and I am an independent event DJ and I specializes in weddings, fundraisers, fitness events and small to medium size social events. Hiring an independent DJ gives you a more personal attention from start to finish, from booking to event day. There is a huge benefit to you when you can call, text or email and every response is coming directly from me.
Preparation is key to executing your event the way you imagine it. Our preparation together using cloud-based software allows us to collaborate in a way that sets me up for success at your event. This is the place where we will record your event itinerary, emcee needs and music plan. The more I know about you and your event plan the more prepared I can be. Every event is unique and requires a unique approach to make it memorable.
I use some of the most state of the art equipment during my performances, with extra care taken to sound great but also look great in your event space. I insist to be heard and felt but not stick out or call attention away from where the attention should be. A lot of focus is given to fill the event space with well balanced sound, achieving this with effective space assessment and programing.
My passion is deep rooted in the feelings I will give you and your guests through the music I play. The success of this is directly connected to the music programming that I do. When we meet to finalize your event plan, we talk about your interests and the interests of your guests so I can program a music set that sets me up for success. The right song at the right time is what creates emotions that will make your event memorable.
While my primary focus is the music I play, I have several supporting services that may fit your event. These include graphic design (in the form of monogram projection), live video streaming, video presentation and event coordination (from my wife and business partner Amber).

Weddings
Clean Wedding Setup
Featuring a setup made of matte black metal and natural wood, the gear we bring to wedding day will compliment your venue space! The main feature is a custom made DJ booth flanked by minimal speaker and lighting equipment that packs a punch while taking up as little space as possible!
Ceremony Audio
I can support your ceremony soundtrack with music and microphones. The ceremony kit is completely wireless and battery powered keeping the setup clean and versatile. I can setup anywhere, without a need for outlets! A two piece setup keeps the equipment to a minimum and doesn’t take away from your look.
Cold Sparks
Add a huge impact to your reception with our cold spark special effect! This indoor safe effect can be added to feature moments of your reception like grand entrances, first dances and dance floors! This is an effect that adds some amazing energy that nothing else can replicate!
Uplighting
Add some unique decor to your venue with lighting! The uplights are LED and can color mix to match almost any color, or stick with a clean white look. We can plan where to use the lighting to accent a certain part of the room or feature.
Glow Foam Dance Sticks
Spice up your dance floor with this fun addition! It doesn’t matter the age or the party…everyone loves dancing with a glow foam dance stick in their hands! This is a simple add on that has a huge effect on every party! We will purchase and prepare the sticks, bring them in an attractive basket and then hand them out at a planned time during the party.
Monogram Projection
A monogram projection is a unique way to add some decor that is truly you! The monograms are made custom, so you decide the look and approve the design prior to wedding day. You can even get your design ahead of the wedding to use on your wedding website, decor, napkins and more!
Our newest addition to the family of services are CO2 canons! These handheld guns are another fun addition to your dance floor that you get to use! Shower your guests with a quickly dissipating cloud of CO2 that adds an incredible amount of energy to the party! Photos and videos of this new addition coming soon…but you can add this to your 2025 wedding now!
CO2 Canons
Let me help you add some media to your wedding day in the form of a photo slideshow or prepared video! We have screens sized at: 24”, 32”, 50” and 100”. We will prepare the media you provide to be played in the location you choose and at the time we plan together. Use this to show photos during cocktail hour, a video during a speech, a video to play next to a feature dance and more!

With a maximum amount of 30 weddings per year, your wedding will get all the attention it needs. With less weddings per year, I can maintain a very high level of quality for every wedding I do, while also getting to spend quality time with my family whom I love! I started as a DJ because of the passion I had to entertain and offer the service I think everyone deserves. The only way to do that properly without losing quality or passion is to remain limited in my schedule!
Limited Schedule
You spend way too much time and money on your wedding for your entertainment to be running on the fly! Your entire wedding schedule will be planned so that nothing is missed and everything happens on time! You can rely on Lonumn Events to make sure the pre-determined elements happen in the order you want and at the time you decide. This doesn’t lower the flexibility…just increases your happiness! Enjoy your day without worrying about what should be happening next, but change the order based on your feelings in the moment. Come into your day with a plan and the piece of mind!
Detailed Planning
A wedding is WAY too planned to have a loose playlist! I will never show up to your wedding just ready to "wing it"! All my weddings are planned, whether you tell me every song you want to hear that day, or just a few of your favorites. We will review music at our final in person pre-wedding meeting to be sure that you’re happy with the way it looks. Your wedding…your approval! Remember...this doesn't mean I'm not flexible...just ready!
Playlist Planning
A flat rate pricing that is simple. Your wedding is very complex...but that doesn't mean your DJ or planning pricing should be. The one price covers most weddings, and means you're getting the same premium experience as everyone else. There is no watered down version, or over priced packages. Every wedding I do gets the same special care because no one's wedding day is more special than anyone else!
Flat Rate Pricing
Booking Policy - All dates are secured ONLY by a paid 20% down deposit. An in person meeting will hold your date for up to 7 days after the meeting occurs. After that 7 days, and without a booking, the date will be released. Thank you for your understanding on this policy.
